You know where has frozen over

It just occured to me how this looks oddly like an inferno when, actually, it was minus 48 degrees Fahrenheit. Anyhow, that's ice fog and steam from the University power plant with the sun at it's absolute zenith. Taken while I was sitting in the car but with the window bravely rolled down. Go me! Space heaters, electric blankets and hot chocolate will be gratefully accepted.

Magee, I just looked at the content of the right-hand column. You TWEET? Holy flurcking schnit! How dare you make me feel so old for merely blogging?

Hmmm...I was going to complain on my blog about all the snow we have here and the near zero temps, but now I would just feel silly.

I can't imagine how you guys cope with that!(Although I much prefer too cold to too hot).

Well, honestly, Paul, don't you think twittering is a little weird. I mean, it's based on the idea that there's a world out there waiting with bated breath to hear every mundane detail of one another's lives. I try to think of it as tweeting to myself :)

Midge, I think we swap weather, so now we're warming up and the midwest is getting cold. We're supposed to actually get above freezing! The mind boggles ...
