Waiting for this new grandchild,
waiting to know.
Waiting for peaches and plums.
Waiting for the other shoe to drop.
Waiting for the axe to fall.
Waiting for birch sap.
Waiting for snow melt.
Waiting to see what's around the corner.
Waiting to see what's over the edge.
Sometimes it's just all about waiting.
